So things didnt go as bad as bad as I thought the would last night. I will be continuing to work in california. But im also going to move to Tahoe in December and im going back to school at a community college down there…and snowboarding of course.
Ive never been a fan of school. I thought it was a waste of money for me since I knew I would be doing photography and its not something you can necessarily go to school for. You can but you dont need to its not something your molded into. Anyway I never had a plan B because photo was plan A and that was that. Hence I had this crazy adventure planned and travel on someone expense somehow. But after talking with my Dad ive come to terms and will be going back to school to finish my degree to have a plan B. Im not giving up on being a photographer by any means but in any case I have a degree I can have a real job working for his company making real money, and not just putting up panels and pushing a broom. He just doesnt really want people to see the owners son doing the low end job I guess.
I think this will be good for me though. The reason I dropped out of Everett community college in the first place was. 1. the photography teachers knew nothing so I just taught myslef and second I hated Everett. Just driving to school made me depressed, the area, the weather, everything about Everett was depressing so I was never motivated. But I think being at Tahoe surrounded by snow and beautiful mountains and a lake. Even the classes there are awesome.
So now I am living in this tiny little town called Crokett its by the water out int he bay area, its pretty nice a lot of nice people. So for the next month this is where ill call home and work until I leave for costa rica next month!
Also went to San Fran to visit a buddy of mine Jack Strutz a fellow photographer hes a hipster so we went to buffalo exchange they have some interesting clothes there lol.
